David Williams

David studied Fine Art, Printmaking, Photography and Graphic Design at Derby College of Art.
He has worked as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, Freelance Illustrator and Art Therapist in London and Brighton
He has also taught Art, Photography, Ceramics and Design Technology in adult and secondary education.

David is a keen photographer and has travelled to many parts of the world including one year spent in Australia on a teaching exchange.

He is inspired by exotic landscapes, perspective and atmospheric light, and in his paintings he creates enticing spaces that invite the viewer to 'walk into the scene'. He works in watercolour and acrylics on paper and canvas.

David is a member of the Fiveways Artists Group who exhibit in the Brighton May Festival of Artists Open Houses. Look for the Fiveways Trail in the Artists Open Houses brochure.
